Foreword

All rules need to be followed when You are participating in any of QuantumX Competitions (from here on – QX) organised tournaments. By accepting Legal regulations You confirm that Your team has read the rules and accepts them. If rules are broken, QX will look into it and make a statement about the punishment individual or team gets. Player can advise any rule changes or additions to QX owners. The newest information about tournaments and rules will be posted on QX official Discord channel.

Participation requirements

In order to participate in QX organised tournaments You have to meet these requirements:

  • You must have Prime status on Your CS:GO account.

  • Your account cannot have ANY VAC-ban on record.

  • Your account cannot be connected with any CS:GO VAC-banned accounts.

  • Your Steam account cannot be connected with a banned ESEA, ESL or FaceIt account.

  • Your Steam account must not be limited.

  • You must use Easy Anti Cheats in every game.

Game Rules

These are the generic game rules and need to be followed when playing any game under QuantumX Competitions organization.

3.1 Game settings

Every game in QX organised tournaments (if not specified otherwise) is run like a classic competitive 5v5 match with overtime enabled. Sides are being chosen via knife round. Each team has got four 30 second tactical time-outs. Overtime will be played with 10’000 starting money. First team to 4 of 6 rounds wins. If a technical problem occurs during a live round, it can be restarted if there is more than one minute left in the round OR no gunfights have happened.

3.2 Map vetoes

Map vetoes are being done in a specified Discord channel within an hour of the actual game. Before the ban process, one of QX’s owners or admins will ask a bot to roll 2 dices. Dices are given to both teams alphabetically. The team that gets the highest value starts banning first. Ban works as following:

  • For a best-of-1 match: Ban- Ban- Ban- Ban- Ban- Ban- Decider

  • For a best-of-3 match: Ban- Ban- Pick- Pick- Ban- Ban- Decider

  • For a best-of-5 match: Pick- Pick- Ban- Ban- Pick- Pick- Decider

3.3 Cheating/Exploits/Bugs

Cheating in any form is not allowed, this also includes using any bugs and/or exploits. QX have all the rights to remove a team from our tournament if we have enough proof of one cheating.

A bug/exploit is considered anything that isn’t supposed to be in CS:GO (example - jump bug).

3.4 Bans and Warnings

QX also has a Ban and Warning system in place to punish members/teams that are not following the rules. Here is how they work.

3.4.1 Individual Bans and Warnings

An individual can get a first-time warning for abusing rules, swearing, disrespecting other participants or cheating. If the person gets another warning, he will face one of the possible bans:

  • 1-5 tournament ban depending on the level of violation

  • Person’s team will not receive the tournament’s prize

  • Person’s team gets disqualified from the tournament

  • Lifetime ban from QX organised tournaments

3.4.2 Team Bans and Warnings

Teams can also get warnings as well as bans. Teams can also face disqualification if one of their players has gotten a ban. Multiple team warnings can cause one of the possible bans:

  • Disqualification from the current tournament

  • Ban from the current and upcoming QX organised events

NOTE. If a ban is issued to a team, the entry fee will not be refunded.

Teams

4.1 Back-ups

For each QX organised tournament team can register up to 6 players – 5 starting roster players and an optional coach/back-up player. These players are final and cannot be changed during the tournament. Only registered players can participate in a match. Any change to playing roster must be reported directly to a QX admin along with a reason, otherwise a team warning will be issued. In case of proven emergency (i.e. internet/electrical outage, personal emergencies) one player change can be made during a game. In the case that no reserve players are available, a team can continue to play with a partial roster.

4.2 Date and Time

The tournament schedule will be released by a QX admin at least 24 hours before the first match-ups. Approximate schedule will be on the Tournament page. Until the precise schedule announcement, any team can talk to one of the QX admins about changing the times.

4.3 Starting Teams

If it’s necessary, a team can elect to start a game with a 4 player roster. The fifth player is allowed to join later in the match. If less than 4 players are present at the beginning of the match, the team is automatically forfeited.

4.4 Forfeit

Teams are allowed to forfeit their match under any circumstance, the team that forfeited will automatically lose and the win will be given to the opposing team.

Teams have a 10 minute extension on the original joining time, if the team is not in the server after the extended time, it gets an automatic forfeit and the win goes to the opposite team.

Tournament Rules

5.1 Registration
